Deputy Prime Minister - Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev held a meeting on technological and industrial development of the Khabarovsk Territory and visited the enterprise of Aero-Hit company, specializing in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles.
The company, acting as a resident of the Khabarovsk advanced development territory, serially produces small strike and reconnaissance UAVs Veles.
Aero-Hit engineers are actively improving models based on the needs of soldiers. The latest versions of drones are equipped with fiber-optic communication systems for high-speed data transmission, artificial intelligence with Soroka and Stratim guidance systems, thermal imagers, and night cameras. The design of the devices is modular - drones can be used for reconnaissance, strike missions, or escorting assault groups.
The new Veles-17 model with a payload capacity of up to 10 kg and a flight range of up to 25 km is being tested in the Russian army. In addition to production, the company is developing a network of technical support and service centers, and has also opened its own laboratory for the development and modernization of drones.
Earlierwww1.ru reported that Russia may arm Venezuela with 2,000 Geran-2 drones.
