At a forum in Venezuela, Rostec demonstrated a number of innovative systems for motorists aimed at improving road safety.
The "Antison" system detects signs of driver fatigue such as frequent blinking, closed eyes, yawning, head tilting, and mobile phone use while driving. When these signs are detected, the device emits an audible signal and vibrates to wake the driver. Currently, more than 16,000 such systems have been installed.
Pedestrian crossing markings applied with the "Aurora-V" projector remain visible even in dirty and snowy road conditions, when ordinary paint becomes indistinguishable. Similar technologies have already been implemented in 25 Russian regions. In total, there are about 1,000 complexes in the country using this technology.
The implementation of the systems is carried out by the "RT-Project Technologies" holding, which is part of Rostec.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a new mechanism for rotating the solar panels of the Express-RV satellite was manufactured by specialists from RESHETNEV.
