«Автостат»: продажи новых Lada в октябре 2025 года снизились более чем на четверть

Chinese brands are hot on the heels of the Russian automaker

Sales of new Lada cars in October 2025 decreased by 25.8% compared to the same period last year, amounting to 33.3 thousand vehicles. This is reported by the analytical agency \"Avtostat\".

Despite the decline, Lada retains its leadership in the Russian market. The brand accounted for just over 20% of all passenger cars sold in mid-autumn — 33,251 units. A year earlier, the brand's share exceeded 26%. In October, 165.7 thousand new cars were sold in Russia, which is 3.2% less than in October 2024.

According to \"Avtostat\", the top five most popular brands also included Haval (26.1 thousand cars), Geely (14.2 thousand), Belgee (10.8 thousand) and Tenet (8.6 thousand). At the same time, Chinese manufacturers continue to strengthen their positions in the Russian market, winning market share from traditional players.

The leaders of the model rating in October were Lada Granta (15.2 thousand cars sold), Haval Jolion (9.2 thousand), Lada Vesta (7.5 thousand), Geely Monjaro (6.4 thousand) and Haval M6 (6.2 thousand). Thus, models of domestic production still remain in the top ten, but Chinese brands are rapidly catching up with them in terms of sales.

From January to October 2025, 1.06 million new passenger cars were sold in Russia — almost 20% less than in the same period last year. Experts attribute the decline in demand to limited supply in the market, rising prices and a fall in the purchasing power of the population.
