Sales of Lada Iskra in September increased to 55 cars for individuals, which is 55 times more compared to August. But the thing is, only one car was sold to an individual in the last month of summer.
Despite the start of production of Lada Iskra on April 19, sales are only in the dozens of cars. Individuals purchased only 57 cars, and legal entities bought 71 cars. Of all these cars, 46 have a CVT, the rest are with a manual transmission.
Lada Iskra occupies an intermediate position between the Lada Granta and Vesta models. The cars are available in configurations with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 90 to 106 horsepower with a manual or automatic (Chinese CVT) gearbox. Standard features include an electronic stability program (ESP), multimedia with online services, heated seats, a rear-view camera, and cruise control. Lada Iskra is available in sedan, station wagon, and cross versions.
