Russian airline "Angara", whose commercial transportation certificate will be revoked on November 5, will continue to operate air ambulance flights. This was stated by the Governor of the Irkutsk Region Igor Kobzev.
It is important that the cancellation of the commercial transportation certificate does not affect the transportation of passengers by ambulance transport (disaster medicine) and aviation work to protect forests from fires.
Under the terms of the contract, the airline will operate flights until the end of 2025, Kobzev emphasized. The authorities of the Irkutsk region will hold a competitive selection of a carrier for subsidized routes, he concluded.
