The Russian airline "Angara", whose certificate for commercial transportation will be revoked from November 5, will continue to operate sanitary aviation flights. This was announced by the Governor of the Irkutsk Region, Igor Kobzev.
It is important that the cancellation of the certificate for commercial transportation does not affect the transportation of passengers by sanitary transport (disaster medicine) and aviation work to protect forests from fires.
Under the terms of the contract, the airline will operate flights until the end of 2025, Kobzev emphasized. The authorities of the Irkutsk region will hold a competitive selection of a carrier for subsidized routes, he summarized.
