The company S7, one of the major players, has ordered more than 100 Tu-214 aircraft.
It is worth mentioning that to increase the production volume of the Tu-214, KAZ is modernizing and increasing its production capacity. The certification of modern Russian systems for new serial machines is also ongoing.
Aviation experts warned that to reach serial production volumes, the production of the Tu-214 needs not only to be modernized, but alsoeffectively redesigned. For now, the production rates are disappointing - in 2025, Kazanwill produce only one Tu-214, although initially it was planned to assemble three.
