The Russian aircraft industry is entering a new era of digital production and smart technologies. The key importance now lies not in the usual machine tools, but in trained employees who know how to work with composite materials, robots and automated lines, said Dmitry Bloshchinsky, Deputy General Director of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of the Rostec Group).
According to him, composites will become the main material for aircraft in the future. Therefore, related professions need to be actively introduced into secondary vocational and higher educational institutions.
The worker should no longer process the part, but put the blank into the line in time, and then pick up the finished part. But we also need specialists to set up this line.
Bloshchinsky added that this approach changes the very structure of aviation enterprises - the share of adjusters and programmers is growing, and the focus is shifting to intellectual professions. Some employees can work remotely, which was previously unimaginable in aviation.
This opens up completely different opportunities: for example, attracting workers from other cities.
Meanwhile, on October 9, the Ministry of Education of Russia officially included anew profession in the list of specialties - "external pilot".
The new rules allow training operators of unmanned aerial vehicles on the basis of secondary vocational education institutions.
Earlierwww1.ru reported that the Rostec commission with Serdyukov and UACraided the production of the PD-8 engine.
