Moscow engineers, in collaboration with "Kulibin-Club", have developed and begun testing a new vertical take-off interceptor drone aimed at neutralizing aircraft-type UAVs and increasing the effectiveness of air defense.
As you know, a major problem now is aircraft-type drones - both reconnaissance and strike, which fly, among other things, at civilian objects. The interceptor drone is designed to shoot down these UAVs, relieving the air defense system and increasing the effectiveness of the engagement.
According to the developer, the first hundreds of such UAVs have already been manufactured for testing, and the company is preparing to launch mass production.
A special feature of the drone is its ability to carry explosives that are activated automatically, as well as fully domestic software.
The drone is equipped with machine learning algorithms and elements of artificial intelligence. It is capable of autonomously performing flights at a distance of up to 10-15 kilometers, independently detecting, tracking, and attacking targets. With each flight, its skills improve thanks to built-in training systems.
The development is supported by "Kulibin-Club", which is engaged in the search and implementation of promising domestic technologies for the defense sector.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a T-72B3 tank in an unusual configuration was shown by Russian soldiers.
