In St. Petersburg, completing a carsharing rental has become paid. The decision is related to the increase in parking prices in certain areas. The short-term car rental service Citydrive announced that so-called "purple zones" have appeared in the city, where completing a trip will cost 60 or 90 rubles.
St. Petersburg has increased the cost of paid parking - we are adapting to the new rules. In most cases, completing a rental on carsharing will be cheaper than the cost of parking itself.
At the same time, if the driver started the rental in the purple zone and completes the trip in it, no fee will be charged. However, picking up a car from the green zone or moving between purple zones will become paid.
