The Russian government has instructed to organize training courses on artificial intelligence (AI) for civil servants. This was reported by journalists with reference to Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko.
The courses will be available in full-time and online formats. This is good for officials: they can study without interrupting their main work. The government's decision is aimed at improving the efficiency of officials. The fact is that AI will help speed up information processing. Professional skills will help officials correctly use chatbots, formulate requests to neural networks and analyze the data obtained. In 2025, 450 people will be trained under the program.
Senator Artem Sheikin stressed that "artificial intelligence has ceased to be an elite technology for specialists in a narrow circle". It has become a universal tool that helps in management, data analysis and rapid decision-making.
Specialized training courses are especially important now, when AI is actively being introduced into public administration — from monitoring national projects to processing citizens' appeals. Possession of AI technologies will allow officials to focus on the essence of tasks, and not on routine operations.
Let us remind you that polls have shown that every fourth Russian uses neural networks in their professional activities, and 60% of employers believe that employees should be able to use these technologies to solve work tasks.
