BAIC BJ40 CNG is a pre-production version of an SUV powered by natural gas, produced in an industrial production environment. The installed CNG kit provides a range of 170 km.
BAIC BJ40 is designed for operation in regions with extreme climates. Gas is used as fuel. This reduces costs.
The car is equipped with three first-type gas cylinders, 28 liters each. They are located in the luggage compartment niche.
The gas cylinder equipment (CNG) kit includes a CNG reducer, a fuel rail, a gas filter, an electronics kit, a refueling device and automatic cylinder valves.
