At least three private research stations may be launched into orbit by 2030 - none of them Russian. This was reported by Evgeny Kuznetsov, Managing Partner at Digital Evolution Ventures.
All these projects are being implemented by foreign companies. These may include Axiom Space, Vast Space with the Haven-1 concept, and Starlab Space. The possibility of launching the Orbital Reef station remains questionable.
If we talk about the economics of space, we (Russia) are in a rather difficult situation, we are lagging behind quite a lot. There are no venture funds in space. It is vital for us not to "drop out" of the race for orbital production.
Russia has about 5-7 years to reduce the gap in the development of space technologies. Every year, access to orbit for private players will become more expensive.
Earlierwww1.ru reported that the Russian orbital station will bemade eternal.
