The IC CTO engineering center from Novosibirsk will allocate 130 million rubles to create a new production site for the pilot production of gas turbine engine parts used in MC-21 and SJ-100 aircraft, as well as in power equipment. The project is being implemented as part of import substitution programs, and production is scheduled to begin in mid-2026.
In the new complex, IC CTO will introduce technologies for manufacturing components for gas turbine engines, steam turbines, and gas turbine units. In addition, the company will establish the production of heat and sound insulation materials for civil aviation.
Of the 130 million rubles of investment, 100 million is provided in the form of a loan by the regional industrial development fund. The company will allocate the remaining funds from its own sources.
Previously, IC CTO specialized in reverse engineering of foreign gas turbine parts, strength calculations of MC-21 liner wing elements, and fire safety tests of its components.
Now the center is moving from engineering research to pilot production, which will ensure that domestic aviation projects are provided with critical components.
