Russia is not going to supply engines to Pakistan for JF-17 fighters. This was stated by a high-ranking Indian source.
He recalled that India is the only country with which Russia has shared the most advanced defense technologies.
We are talking about the joint production of Brahmos missiles, the supply of S-400 anti-aircraft systems, the joint production of S-500, as well as Russia's proposal to produce Su-57 fighters with technology transfer.
A representative of the Indian side added that Russia and India have an understanding that Moscow will never supply Pakistan with any defense equipment that harms India's interests.
It should be noted that the JF-17 fighter was originally equipped with a Russian RD-93 engine, which was supplied to China under a corresponding contract with Russia. However, at the moment, fighters can also use the Chinese WS-13 engine.
Earlierwww1.ru reported that Russia is ready to offer supplies of Su-57 and S-400 air defense systems abroad.
