The "High-Precision Systems" holding (part of Rostec State Corporation) has transferred a new batch of "Depesha" multi-functional robotic wheeled platforms to the Ministry of Defense. Thanks to the modular principle, these machines can be adapted to various tasks by installing different modules.
"Depesha" is capable of transporting cargo weighing up to 200 kg, including provisions, fuel, and equipment, as well as evacuating the wounded from the front lines.
The robots are built from lightweight and durable materials and equipped with independent suspension, which ensures high maneuverability and cross-country ability. Compact dimensions allow the complex to be transported in the trunk of an SUV or pickup truck.
Robotic systems have acquired particular importance as they allow solving complex tasks without human intervention. Currently, various modifications of the "Depesha" multi-functional platform are undergoing comprehensive testing in the special military operation zone. Various combat modules are also being tested on the "Depesha", which will expand the application scenarios of the complex.
"Depesha" is controlled using a remote control. Fiber optic connection can be used for stable communication.
Mikhail Vorotilin, Vice-Rector for Research at Tula State University (TSU), noted that the "Depesha" robots have become"a technological breakthrough in the field of mobile robotics development".
Earlier,www1.ru reported that Uralvagonzavod Increased the Firing Range of the TOS-1A "Solntsepek" by Almost 2 Times.
