RCI Service, a tuning company, has announced the completion of work on creating Russia's first turbocharged Lada Largus Cross station wagon, assembled in Togliatti. The installation of a turbocharger significantly improved the car's dynamic performance.
It should be noted that the standard version of the Largus Cross is equipped with a 1.6-liter VAZ-21129 naturally aspirated engine producing 106 hp and a 5-speed VAZ-21807 manual transmission. Acceleration to "hundreds" in the factory model takes 14.3 seconds, and the top speed is 170 km/h. Thanks to a turbine with a boost pressure of 0.7 bar, the upgraded car reaches 100 km/h in 8-9 seconds. At the same time, the peak power increases to 150-170 hp, and the torque reaches 220-240 Nm. The maximum speed increases to 200 km/h.
In the process of refinement, the car also received an exhaust manifold made of stainless steel and a reinforced clutch system. RCI Service noted that the "TurboLargus" combines the smooth ride and good traction characteristic of diesel engines with improved acceleration characteristics.
