Ural Turbine Plant (UTZ, part of "Inter RAO") will increase production by 50% by 2030, said Dmitry Izotin, General Director of the enterprise, during a visit to the plant by Sergey Dregval, Chairman of the Management Board of "Inter RAO," and Denis Pasler, Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region. This was reported by the energy company's press service.
The discussion revolves around increasing the production of high-power condensation turbines. UTZ has already supplied 17 turbines with a capacity of 125 MW for power plants in Russia, Belarus, and Mongolia. Currently, workers are assembling a 250 MW turbine for the Moscow power system.
The plant is fulfilling 53 orders for turbine equipment for the energy sector, industrial generation, small nuclear power plants, serial nuclear icebreakers, and modernized floating nuclear power units.
In addition, the company has built a new assembly stand for the production of K-230 and K-330 type condensation turbines. The first turbine assembled on this stand was sent to a thermal power plant in Khabarovsk.
