At the Irkutsk Aviation Plant (IAZ), to increase the production rate of MC-21 aircraft, preparations are underway in workshop 269 to install four new machines. They are designed for processing large parts made of titanium alloys.
Extensive preparations were carried out in the workshop. First, a pit was dug, then a reinforcing cage was welded. More than 170 anchor wells were laid in the foundation, which will ensure reliable fastening of the machines. The final stage was pouring the concrete foundations.
After the concrete hardened and gained the necessary strength, the surface of the foundations began to be leveled. This is a critical step, as even the slightest deviations can lead to vibrations and unstable operation of the machines in the future. High-precision laser levels and special leveling compounds were used for leveling. Each foundation was carefully checked and adjusted until an ideal horizontal plane was achieved.
The large-scale construction in workshop 269, which began in July, is coming to an end. To install new machines here, each weighing 92 tons, it was necessary to carry out grandiose work.
Earlier,www1.ru reported thatcomposites from Rosatom helped in the production of the Tango training aircraft.
