Specialists from the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI) have completed certification ground tests of the landing gear and integrated control system of the import-substituted MC-21-310.
The work was carried out by order and with the support of PJSC Yakovlev at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant. TsAGI recalled that testing is a mandatory stage for new aircraft and their modifications in the final stage of preparing aircraft for their first flight.
In the course of experiments at TsAGI, the frequency characteristics of the landing gear struts and import-substituted control systems were determined under various conditions of configurations and settings of the MC-21-310 systems.
Based on the test results, specialists from FAU TsAGI and PJSC Yakovlev will conduct appropriate calculations and expert review of the results.
