The opening of four new stations on the Troitskaya line of the Moscow Metro is planned for City Day. This was announced by the Mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, during the technical launch, which took place on June 21.
The section from Novatorskaya to ZIL is being considered, including the new stations: Vavilovskaya, Akademicheskaya, Krymskaya, and ZIL.
Dear colleagues, in Moscow, the main construction work has been completed on four more metro stations, this is the Troitskaya line, from Novatorskaya to ZIL. It is important that three of the four stations have transfers to other metro lines.
During the technical launch, all systems and equipment were checked, as well as test runs of trains. Experts assessed the readiness of the stations to receive passengers and made the necessary adjustments. After the completion of all checks, a decision will be made on the date of the opening of the stations for passengers.
Three months are given to complete all engineering work and carry out commissioning. I hope that on City Day these stations will receive their first passengers.
Sobyanin also announced that the metro will become significantly closer for 600,000 Muscovites.
The Troitskaya metro line is one of the most ambitious projects for the development of the Moscow metro. It will connect the center of Moscow with new districts in the south and southwest of the city, providing convenient and quick access to various infrastructure facilities, including the scientific cluster in Troitsk. The launch of new stations will be an important step towards the implementation of this ambitious project.
