On Monday, Igor Ozar was introduced to the staff of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA), and he took office as the director of the enterprise.
Ozar began his career in aircraft construction in 1999 as the financial director of the Sukhoi Design Bureau. After leaving the UAC circuit, Ozar headed the Roscosmos enterprise — RKK Energia.
The CEO of UZGA was Leonid Luzgin, and the plant itself has not officially announced the changes in leadership.
UZGA is the developer of the promising small aircraft LMS-901 "Baikal", which will replace the Soviet An-2 on regional lines.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stated that the LMS-901 "Baikal" aircraft should be ready for mass production no later than the end of 2026.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that an aircraft factory in Dagestan has begun testing the AP-55 helicopter: the price starts from $2 million.
