Perm-based company "Permneftemash" will manufacture a complex of transport platforms for the Irkutsk Aviation Plant to move the SSJ-100 fuselage inside the production hall.
The customer set the task of optimizing intra-shop logistics and ensuring safe, accurate, and reliable movement of one of the most expensive and large elements of the aircraft.
Engineers at "Permneftemash" proposed an innovative solution: a modular platform with a lifting capacity of up to 7 tons on durable bolted connections with a fully collapsible structure, which facilitates transportation and storage.
The cradles with protective wooden trim will eliminate damage to the fuselage, and the reinforced swivel supports with polyurethane coating ensure smoothness and maneuverability.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the millionth titanium ingot for the construction of the MC-21 and SJ-100 was smelted in Russia.
