Artillery units of the Armed Forces of Russia have begun using ground drones to cover firing positions. Robots with complexes of electronic warfare (EW) will protect artillerymen from attack drones.
Electronic warfare systems installed on tracked drones block frequencies used by UAVs. Remotely controlled vehicles are on duty all the time, while the artillerymen are performing a combat mission.
This is a promising tactic, because it is a powerful complex of electronic warfare, mobile, which can move with the battery and, accordingly, provide reconnaissance of devices that are in the air near the unit and threaten it, and besides, also extinguish them.
Analyst Vadim Kozyulin added that the robotic platform replaces a person, so this tactic allows you to save the lives of soldiers.
Earlierwww1.ru reported thatfive nuclear submarines in Russia will be converted for "Caliber", "Zircon" and "Onyx".
