The "Archangel" project successfully worked out the destruction of a conditional target by interceptor drones operating in conjunction with a carrier aircraft. A video of the complex's tests has appeared online.
With its help, interceptor drones were lifted to a height of 1.5 km, and then approaches to the target were practiced. Moreover, the target was not only a drone, but also an escort vehicle.
The UAV carrier also acts as a repeater for working on targets beyond the radio horizon relative to the combat control point.
Such tandems can also effectively work against enemy unmanned surface vessels in the sea area.
