In the first half of the year, Rostec delivered 65% of the most sought-after weapons from the annual plan to the troops. The West is shocked by such pace, said the head of the state corporation Sergey Chemezov.

He noted that the "ceiling" of the Russian "defense industry" is still very high, therefore, the military-industrial complex will produce as many weapons and military equipment as required.

The production of certain types of products has increased tenfold. And it continues to increase many times over every year.  For particularly sought-after models of weapons and military equipment, we are ahead of schedule - in the first six months we delivered 65% of the annual plan to the troops. The West is shocked by our pace.

Chemezov noted that, compared to 2021, Rostec has increased the production of light armored vehicles, ammunition and MLRS shells tenfold.

In 2024 alone, the production of light armored vehicles and tanks increased by 1.1 times, for tanks and light armored vehicles - by 2.1 times, ammunition for barrel artillery - by 1.3 times, MLRS shells - by 1.7 times.
