Alaskan motorcycle enthusiast Mark Warren received a new Ural motorcycle as a gift from Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was announced by Andrey Ledenev, Minister-Counselor of the Russian Embassy in the United States.
The American rides a Ural motorcycle in Anchorage. He complained that due to sanctions, he cannot find the necessary spare parts.
Vladimir Putin learned about Warren's problem and made an unexpected gift. The Alaskan resident was pleasantly surprised. It turned out that the new Russian Ural is better than his old motorcycle.
This motorcycle runs much smoother. It's newer, more precise in handling. You know, this machine is just magnificent. I'm speechless.
Ural motorcycles are produced by the Irbit Motorcycle Plant (IMZ) in the Sverdlovsk region. Only 3% of the company's motorcycles are sold in Russia and the CIS countries. The rest goes to the USA, Canada, Australia and Europe. The Russian motorcycle has even joined the collection of Hollywood actor Brad Pitt. Urals are also sold in Japan.
