At the Kazan Aviation Plant named after Gorbunov (part of Tupolev PJSC of Rostec), a total of six unique Tu-214 aircraft with PU (command post), SR (relay aircraft), and SUS (communication center) markings were developed, Business Online reported.
According to its information, the customer for all the liners was the Administrative Directorate of the President of Russia (UPD).
We are talking about two Tu-214PU, two Tu-214SR, and two Tu-214SUS. All aircraft are equipped with PS-90A engines with an increased range of up to 10,500 kilometers.
The aircraft are equipped with modern communication equipment, a comfortable cabin, and control systems, which allows it to be used both in Russia and abroad.
