Russia will need 10 years to develop a competitive civil aircraft industry and achieve a production volume of 100-200 aircraft per year, said Konstantin Yaroshenko, Deputy General Director of Zhukovsky Moscow Airport and pilot.
According to him, significant steps are already being taken in this direction.
Well, I think in another 10 years, we will reach the point, if not to produce hundreds of aircraft per month as it was in the USSR, then at least to be able to produce 100-200 aircraft per year.
Yaroshenko explained that fulfilling such a task will require both time and the training of necessary personnel. It is necessary not only to produce aircraft but also to train personnel.
Like the specialized vocational schools that used to exist. Where can you find, for example, a good turner, fitter, or milling machine operator now? There are very few of them now.
Yaroshenko reminded that educational work needs to be carried out with young people to arouse their interest in training in demanded specialties, as well as to provide decent wages and housing.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a MiG-29 fighter jet was put up for sale in Perm: anyone can buy it.
