Ivolga 4.0 trains with a new design will be launched on the MCD

Passengers in the cabin will be greeted by seats with mint-colored headrests, reminiscent of "summer breeze, sea waves and foliage"

Tver Carriage Works has sent the first Ivolga 4.0, equipped with updated seats, to Moscow. Now passengers in the cabin will be greeted by seats with mint-colored headrests.

The new color was chosen deliberately, symbolizing freshness and youth, reminiscent of the summer breeze, sea waves and greenery — elements that are so lacking in the hot season. It also contrasts perfectly with the noble gray color of the seat upholstery. The first Ivolga 4.0 with an updated design will soon appear on the lines, and all subsequent trains will have a similar color scheme for the cabin.

The mint-gray colored seats have become the fourth design option. On the metro lines, you can see trains with seats in blue-red, yellow-gray and blackberry-gray upholstery. New color solutions for upholstery are selected by the Moscow Department of Transport, taking into account the wishes of passengers and current trends in design.

The train is produced by Tver Carriage Works (part of TMH). The cars are designed with maximum attention to passengers and are 97% assembled from domestic parts.
