Increasing the combat capabilities of the coastal surveillance system and means of repelling drone attacks are priority tasks, said the head of the Ministry of Defense Andrei Belousov during a visit to the Baltic Fleet facilities.

The head of the department heard reports from the command on the organization of combat duty, checked the air defense units in the region and measures to effectively counter possible threats.

In addition, Belousov familiarized himself with the actions of troops during training on practicing by crews of ships and boats in the Kaliningrad Maritime Canal, maneuverable fire groups of actions to protect the basing point and air defense crews.

At the end of the work, Belousov held a meeting with the command of the Baltic Fleet and gave a number of instructions.
