UEC has named the key characteristics of the units and explained why the power of some is measured by thrust in tons, while others are measured in horsepower.

PD-14, PD-8, and PD-35 aircraft engines are turbojet engines. Their main characteristic is the thrust of the jet stream, which pushes the aircraft forward. It is measured in tons of force.
