The "Golden Apple" store chain has created its own digital "labor exchange" — a platform for managing employee schedules based on the Uber principle.
Now, employees can independently choose available shifts through a mobile application, and managers can accurately plan working hours depending on customer activity. The implementation of the system has increased the accuracy of shift planning by 10% and increased overall work efficiency by 25%.
Previously, schedules were drawn up manually, which led to an overabundance of personnel during quiet hours and a shortage during peak periods. The new platform, developed by the internal technology division GA Tech Team, allows for almost 100% compliance with the real need for employees.
In the near future, the system is planned to be implemented for contact centers and warehouses, covering about 11 thousand employees.
