The Luidor plant has presented a tow truck based on the Gazelle Business with a design feature that allows doubling the pulling force of the winch. Thanks to special loops near the rear guide, a reverse grip is implemented — the cable is pulled through the block of the pulley, which doubles the force. As a result, the winch, designed for 4 tons, begins to pull 8 tons, although the pulling speed is reduced.
The tow truck is also equipped with a double break mechanism, which is convenient for loading low cars — the sills do not catch on obstacles.
Usually, electric or hydraulic winches with a pulling force of about 4,100 kg are installed on Gazelle Business tow trucks. This equipment is designed for operation in urban conditions and allows transporting most cars. The improvement proposed by Luidor significantly expands the capabilities of the model.
