Units of the Russian army began to massively use the new "Penicillin" sound-ranging system for listening. Sound receivers complexes "reveal" the location of enemy guns.
The equipment is capable of capturing sharp sounds produced by various weapons and determining their exact positions.
The "Penicillin" complex reads acoustic signals from shots within a radius of 50 km and provides data with the coordinates of the place of the ammunition explosion and the gun that fired it. This will take no more than 5 seconds.
