The Ilyushin Aviation Complex (PJSC Il) has refused to continue cooperation with the aviation component developer NPO Rodina on a project to improve the rudder actuator and flap actuator control systems for the Il-114 300 aircraft.
NPO Rodina stated that they had developed the necessary systems, and the company had already begun creating prototypes. However, these systems turned out to be unnecessary for the Il-114 300 aircraft. The Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal confirmed on July 10 the legality of PJSC Il's unilateral termination of the contract.
PJSC Il approached NPO Rodina in 2017 and ordered the improvement of the rudder actuator and flap actuator control systems RP85-03 for the Il-114-300 aircraft.
But in 2019, PJSC Il did not receive the necessary materials. And in September 2023, the Federal Aviation Regulations changed, introducing new requirements for specialized software and reliability for aircraft systems.
In June 2023, work on the modernization of the Il-114-300 aircraft was completed, and PJSC Il sent NPO Rodina a notice of unilateral termination of the contract.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a modernized Tu-214 aircraft flew for testing over Kazan.
