Ural Locomotives has certified the dual-system high-speed electric train "Finist". The certificate is issued for a period of 5 years and is valid until July 2030.
This allows the plant to begin mass production of new electric trains. The factory acceptance commission has determined a pilot series of 60 units.
The launch of "Finist" trains on Russian railways will optimize the passenger transportation schedule and increase the comfort of travel in areas where it is necessary to switch from one type of current to another. This will also lead to savings in time and resources on such routes.
The dual-system train ES105 is equipped with a domestic traction system and auxiliary equipment. The five-car train has 386 seats and the number of seats for passengers with disabilities has been increased to four. The cars are equipped with microclimate and air disinfection systems, lifts for people with limited mobility, as well as a passenger counting system at the entrance and places for sports equipment, including bicycles, skis and snowboards.
Earlier www1.ru reported that TADEР315-6U1 electric motors passed certification.
