Russians have no reason to fear for the safety of flights on domestic SJ-100 aircraft, said aviation expert Roman Gusarov.
According to him, the SJ-100 does not differ in its characteristics from foreign competitors, both in technical and economic characteristics, and in reliability.
I understand that many compatriots are used to looking at the automotive industry and think that there is a "Zhiguli", and there is a foreign car. But aviation is completely different, it is not the automotive industry. "Zhiguli" do not fly in the sky.
Gusarov added that, unlike automobiles, aviation equipment is certified according to modern and very stringent requirements.
Moreover, domestic requirements for a number of parameters are more stringent than foreign ones.
