The S.V. Ilyushin Aviation Complex (part of the United Aircraft Corporation of Rostec) has presented the official flight and technical characteristics of the serial turboprop passenger aircraft Il-114-300.
The liner's passenger capacity will be 66 people, although there was initial talk of 68 seats. The maximum take-off weight of the aircraft is 23.5 tons, and the commercial load is up to 6 tons.
The cruising speed of the Il-114-300 is in the range of 450-500 km/h with a maximum flight altitude of 7,600 m. For take-off, the Il-114-300 requires a runway length of 1400 m, a take-off distance of 790 meters, and a landing distance of 550 meters (410 meters with reverse thrust). The ferry range of the aircraft is 5200 km.
Fuel consumption is 560 kg/h, which is 16% lower than that of the foreign analogue ATR 72-600. The empty weight of the aircraft with the interior is defined as 15,407 kg (the weight of the interior itself is 1,556 kg).
Earlier www1.ru reported that the MS-21 aircraft flew for the first time to test navigation systems as a regular aircraft.
