The production of Geranium unmanned aerial vehicles is expanding in the Alabuga special economic zone (SEZ) in the Republic of Tatarstan. This was announced by military expert Boris Rozhin with reference to satellite images that appeared on the Web.
Judging by the footage, new factory buildings are being built there for the future production of drones of various types. At the same time, "Geranium" remains the main product.
Timur Shagivaleev, General Director (SEZ) of Alabuga, stated that Russia is currently producing thousands of Geranium kamikaze drones, the initial production plan has increased ninefold.
Alexander Mikhailov, Head of the Bureau of Military-Political Analysis, also noted that Russia is capable of reaching a production level of "Geraniums" up to 500 units daily. Production lines need to be expanded, because drones have fully proven their effectiveness.
