Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Bakanov announced that he had held "a couple of discussions" with SpaceX head Elon Musk. During the discussions, issues of space exploration were discussed.

Dmitry Bakanov noted that Musk is a very enthusiastic person who is actively promoting the idea of colonizing Mars.
According to Bakanov, Musk has made a significant contribution to the development of world cosmonautics, and his company occupies a majority share in a number of space services markets. However, in this area, the Russian side can only compete with SpaceX, since the American company has very developed technologies.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Roscosmos is developing a reusable first stage rocket.
