Coping without the MC-21: Red Wings transported more than a million people in six months on Superjets and Tu-214s

In the past six months, Red Wings has opened 16 new routes

The airline Red Wings (part of the Rostec State Corporation) has transported more than 1.2 million passengers in the last six months. This is almost 2% more than in the same period of the previous year.

The airline's fleet consists mainly of domestic aircraft, including 22 Superjets. The carrier also uses Russian Tu-204/214s. The aircraft are manufactured by the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC).

In six months, Red Wings increased passenger traffic on domestic routes by 8% and opened 16 new routes. The average seat occupancy rate was almost 85%.

Earlierwww1.ru reported thatthe MC-21-310 aircraft will "lose weight" by hundreds of kilograms thanks to new materials.
