The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) have received new modernized correction and planning modules (UMPC), which turn high-explosive air bombs (FAB) into high-precision ammunition for Su-34 and Su-35S fighters. This was reported by the author of the Telegram channel, former military pilot Fighterbomber.
Another novelty worth noting is the new generation of UMPC, which received as many as three letters at the end, which allows FABs to fly even further.
The previous modification of the module was designated UMPC-PD. The last letters may mean "increased range."
Jamming-resistant "Comet" satellite data reception modules use several receivers to compare the strength and angles of incoming signals. The new detail increases the accuracy of the bombs.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a foreign country wanted to purchase the latest S-500 Prometheus air defense systems.
