Мошенники выманивают у россиян код от «Госуслуг» под видом сотрудников военкоматов

Fraudsters initiate dialogue under the guise of issuing a registration certificate or clarifying data, and then demand that they be informed of the "electronic queue" code

Scammers have come up with a new scheme to lure the authorization code from the "Gosuslugi" portal. They pretend to be employees of military commissariats. This was reported by the Department for the Organization of Combating Illegal Use of Information and Communication Technologies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

Under the pretext of issuing a registration certificate or clarifying data, the attackers enter into a dialogue, and then demand that they be informed of the electronic queue code. It was according to this scheme that a tenth-grader from the Nizhny Novgorod region and a student from Volgograd were deceived.

In both cases, the victims gave the codes to the scammers, losing access to their personal accounts. But the criminals could not use the stolen data. A teenager from the Nizhny Novgorod region, after receiving a suspicious call (masquerading as "Roskomnadzor"), immediately turned to his parents. A student from Volgograd blocked the account and reported the incident to the police.

In both cases, the scammers contacted the victims via WhatsApp.

We remind you that government authorities, including military commissariats, do not call in messengers!

Earlier it became known that scammers began to use a scheme with "training in cryptocurrency trading". First, the attacker assesses the level of financial literacy of a potential victim and establishes a trusting relationship with them.
