Deliveries of the first domestic MC-21 and SJ-100 aircraft to commercial customers will begin after the certification phase is completed. This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov.
According to him, for this, it will not be necessary to wait for the start of serial production of the aircraft.
The certification completion phase is underway, but at the same time, for both the MC-21 and the SJ-100, there is already a production backlog of 20 aircraft each, meaning that as soon as the certificate is issued, deliveries will begin immediately to their commercial customers. For this, it will not be necessary to wait for the start of production.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a full cycle of production of PD-8 and PD-14 blades will ensure the independence of aircraft engine building in Russia.
