The Minister added that the production of Tu-214 and Il-96-300 aircraft in Russia has not stopped and continues serially for state needs, including special purpose services, such as the SLO "Russia".
The Tu-214 aircraft is a medium-range passenger airliner developed in the late 1980s. It is equipped with modern, powerful, and economical PS-90A engines. The Il-96-300, in turn, is a wide-body long-range aircraft and can be operated at high-altitude airfields.
