Lose Weight by Summer: Main Task Named for MC-21-310 Aircraft

2.2 Billion Rubles Allocated for Improving Flight Performance

The State Duma has adopted amendments to the 2025 budget, and the parliament will allocate additional funds to improve the MC-21-310 aircraft.

2.2 billion rubles have been allocated for research and development work to improve flight performance and optimize the weight of the aircraft.

As it became known, the MC-21-310 aircraft gained several tons in weight during the import substitution work, compared to the non-import-substituted MC-21-300 aircraft.

The aircraft gained almost 6 tons, which sharply worsened its flight characteristics. For example, at full load, the flight range decreased by half, to 2.8 thousand kilometers or even to 2 thousand, which took the aircraft out of the medium-range category.

Earlier www1.ru reported that features of the Russian Su-34 and Su-24 were noticed in the first image of the unique 6th generation J-36 fighter.
