According to plans for 2026, the production of the import-substituted SJ-100 "Superjet" should be at least 28 aircraft, but Market Power analysts believe that in reality their number will be about half, that is, 15 units.
The PD-8 engine is currently undergoing certification, so production is currently at a standstill. However, if the average number of aircraft is 15 units per year from 2026 to 2029, it turns out to be 60 aircraft.
Analysts emphasize that these calculations are approximate and rather conservative, including because it is unknown whether there will be problems with the supply of components.
The "Superjet-100" is a narrow-body short-haul aircraft designed to fly up to 5 thousand km. SJ-100 became the first civilian serial aircraft created in Russia after the collapse of the USSR.
