Footage of a Russian drone encountering an American F-16 fighter has appeared online. The video was published by a former pilot, the author of the Telegram channel Fighterbomber.
Apparently, the Russian drone was flying on its own business, and suddenly an F-16 came into the lens of its camera.
The drone approached the plane close enough, but, apparently, did not attack it. Apparently, it was a UAV of a reconnaissance type, not a strike type.
Retired Major General Vladimir Popov noted that the Russian Armed Forces have two dozen drones that could destroy fighters. At the same time, the modernized model of the «Geran-2» strike drone with a jet engine can reach speeds of around 600 km/h.
