The crew of the submarine «Mozhaisk» (project 636.3 «Varshavyanka») of the Pacific Fleet conducted intra-ship exercises in the Baltic Sea. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The maneuvers took place in the combat training area of the Baltic Fleet. The sailors performed missile firings from a submerged position at surface and coastal targets, making electronic launches of cruise missiles. All assigned targets were hit.
The implementation of the L-3 course task elements at sea by the submarine was ensured by the crews of warships, rescue vessels and naval aviation of the Baltic Fleet.
The diesel-electric submarine is equipped with modern complexes of underwater missile and torpedo weapons, as well as sonar and radio-technical weapons. «Mozhaisk» carries «Kalibr» cruise missiles.
