The Russian concern Kalashnikov presented the IZH Caliber 20 longitudinal turning machine with numerical control (CNC) at the Metalworking-2025 exhibition. This was reported by the concern's press service.
The development of industrial equipment is carried out by specialists of the design bureau of the machine tool division of JSC "Kalashnikov Concern".
The new machines aroused considerable interest among potential customers, especially manufacturers of tools for the aviation and rocket and space industries.
The concern noted the demand for the updated model of the IT-42S CNC lathe, ball screw drives (ballscrews) for high-precision equipment.
Representatives of Kalashnikov held more than 100 meetings with potential customers. Work is currently underway to form an order portfolio for next year.
